Hanawa Town Tourism Association character Dari-chan. She is a girl born on August 7, Flower Day, at the dahlia garden in Hanawa Town, where the entire town works to cultivate dahlias. At Yu Yu Land Hanawa in Hanawa Town, 300 varieties and 5,000 dahlia plants are said to bloom from summer through autumn. Dari-chan appears at various events around the country to promote Hanawa Town and its dahlias.
