Official character of the Koenji Shopping District Federation, Psyche Deli-san. Selected by the final judging committee from submitted entries in November 2014, this character debuted in April 2015 and is distinguished by red lips and a splendid mustache. Since the Koenji Awa Odori, one of the largest events in the Tokyo area, is held every August, Psyche Deli-san wears tabi and apparently can dance the Awa Odori. Psyche Deli-san shares the attractions and information of the Koenji shopping district on Twitter, Facebook, and elsewhere while appearing at events in various places and attracting attention.
