Hitoyoshi Onsen Tourism Association mascot character Hitto-kun. He is based on the kiji uma, a local wooden toy from Hitoyoshi City. He was born on November 9, 1198, and enjoys visiting the hot springs of Hitoyoshi. He appears at various events and on television to promote Hitoyoshi City and its hot springs.
