Hinode Town image character Hinode-chan is inspired by “a shining child who will carry Hinode Town’s future.” She was selected from entries submitted nationwide and created in Heisei 25. With the town flower, cherry blossoms, adorning her head, she expresses “Hinode Town, the town of sun and greenery” with her whole body and appears at events in Tokyo and Hinode Town.
