Tajiri Town mascot Tajiricchi has a head inspired by the local specialty Senshu onions, decorated with cosmos, the ward flower, and Senshu octopus caught in Osaka Bay. His body represents the sea because Tajiri Town faces Osaka Bay, and the town emblem is designed on his chest. As leader of the Tajiri Cheer-Up Team, he appears at many events and works hard to promote Tajiri Town’s attractions.
