Nishiyodogawa Ward mascot character: Nīyon. Nīyon is a camellia fairy created after the design and nickname were solicited in 2010. The name was given with the ward flower, camellia, as the motif. Nīyon appears and is active at various events inside and outside the ward while making “flowers of smiles” bloom in the hearts of many people, from children to adults!
