Omitama City mascot character: Omitan. This energetic boy is modeled on a calf and an airplane, with his green cape and clothing representing nature. The three red buttons represent the dreams of the newly created city and “a bright future through rediscovering its charms,” as Omitama City was created in 2006 through the merger of Ogawa Town, Minori Town, and Tamari Village!
