Kita Fire Station mascot, Bin-chan. Created to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the opening of Kita Fire Station, she was named by taking “Bin” from “mei, kyō, bin” (bright, strong, and keen). She calls on everyone to prevent fires and shares information about fire prevention, disaster preparedness, and Kita Fire Station on Twitter, ending her sentences with “bin!”
