Kaneyama Town official character, Kabomaru. Kabomaru is a fairy of Oku-Aizu Kaneyama red pumpkin, a town specialty, and was unveiled in October 2013. He wears a ribbon inspired by Ōshio carbonated water, a naturally carbonated water, around his neck. The town's many hot springs are represented by a bucket and hot-spring symbol. Since his debut, he has appeared at various events, mainly within the town.
