Kuramoni-chan is the image character for Kurashiki Asaichi "Sansaiichi." This fairy was born at the Sansaiichi morning market, held on the third Sunday of every month in front of Kurashiki Station and elsewhere in Kurashiki City. Kuramoni-chan wears pants and a hat inspired by Kurashiki's white-walled buildings, with wisteria-flower decorations on her tail and hair. She travels to many events inside and outside the city to promote Kurashiki and the morning market.
