Akiha Ward flower image character Satsuki-chan. This girl was created in 1991 with satsuki azaleas, one of the specialties of Akiha Ward, a renowned area for flower and tree horticulture, as her motif. Renewed in 2012, she promotes “Akiha Ward, the home of flowers” in many places while holding a flower wand.
