Publicity representative of the Odai Bridge Shopping Association. Bassy debuted on October 27, 2013, from Komae City, Tokyo, said to be Japan's third-smallest city, as its first yuru character. Self-proclaimed Japan's tiniest yuru character, Bassy is a 135-centimeter-tall boy modeled on a platypus and wearing a bag? of locally famous edamame. The name Bassy was selected through a public competition. Bassy hopes to be active at events inside and outside the city for beloved Komae City and the Odai Bridge Shopping Association.
