Totsuka Ward mascot Unashī. In 2009, the 70th anniversary of the ward administration, the design was selected through a public call for entries, and the name was chosen by a vote of ward residents from among submitted entries. Unashī is a cow character. The spots on his body apparently represent Totsuka Ward's specialties and landmarks, including cherry blossoms, forests, parks, fields, and the Tōkaidō.
