Horikiri revitalization image character Horikirin. Created based on ideas from local elementary school students to revitalize Horikiri, Horikirin debuted at the 2011 Horikiri Katsushika Iris Festival. Horikirin wears the iris, a Horikiri specialty, on its head and works to revitalize the town. Apparently, Horikirin received an award from Katsushika Ward in 2015!
