Hustle Komon, the Ibaraki Prefecture Mascot Character, was created in 2005 modeled on Mito Komon. He travels around the provinces to improve the image of his beloved Ibaraki Prefecture, and his special skills are natto dancing and air guitar! He is strict with evildoers but reserved and kind by nature, and has fans across a wide range of ages. Apparently, he can sometimes transform into the more active “Super Hustle Komon.”
